Snow has started to fall across Europe

With dropping temperatures and snow fall over the weekend, it's looking like Europe is finally starting to welcome in the Winter season. At the end of last week, the webcams were telling a rather alarming story, see our blog from last Thursday here. Thankfully we're starting to see an encouraging contrast on the webcams now. Eventually the snow always comes!

Of course a lot more snow will be needed to give Europe a decent base, but this is a really great start. With temperatures forecast to stay low and with more snow on it's way, I'm sure a lot of resorts are wiping the sweat off their brows!

The skiers from our French 18 week instructor course took a break from their pre-season fitness training to enjoy some powder skiing in Serre Chevalier yesterday.

Over in Canada, there's very little to worry about, as they continue to be blessed with heavy dump after heavy dump. Fernie enjoyed a blue-bird powder day on their first official day of the season on Saturday. If you can spare the time / air fair, Canada's still looking like the surest bet this season for powder!
