Fernie New Year Camps - Week Two

The ski hill has been excellent this past week providing snow, sunshine and smiles. Skiers and snowboarders are improving their skills and some a preparing for their CSIA and CASI Level 1 instructor exams next week...

The returning Nonstop clients had an advantage when they stepped out onto the ice but we may have found some rising stars in the curling world. Ski and snowboard instructors Ash, Clarence, Alex, Andy and Jens joined the vibrant group for a few games. Some were down to the wire and others were just trying to throw the rock without falling over but we won’t mention names!

Some braved the cold temperatures and frozen mountain for a night of winter camping. Much fun was had telling stories around the campfire and learning how to spend a night comfortably on the mountain.

It was sad to see the skiers and snowboarders from the two week program go. Many friendships were made and will continue into the future. We hope to see you all again and will definitely ski some powder just for you!
