Master The Mountain Course Diary - Week Six
The last week of the MTM course is an exciting week; sharing glory stories of the Boulder Hut and passing jealousy around the Lodge with lots of conversation about ripping powder, embracing time off the grid and living in a cabin in the mountains...

Mark, Sarah, Rosey (the dog) and the kids were wonderful hosts, opening their doors and sharing their dream life as mountain and ski touring guides. The food was impressive and the facilities were highlighted with the hot tub, sauna and family games night being firm favourites.

The whole group came back together again for their last week of lessons and reunited with our Nonstop pros. A chance to build further confidence for future vacactions to come.

The crew went on a powder hunt; chasing storms all the way up to Panorama resort. One last trip away to bond with new life-long friends. Nonstop pro- Jeremie, hosted a team bonfire on Thursday night which was a blast. The whole crew came out to see his fire tricks; with fireworks and lard explosions. Thanks Jeremie!
All smiles at The Griz
Our farewell party was a night to remember. Chef Shawn and Adam prepared their world famous Gunnies Beef Pot-pie. Our pros joined us for dinner, drinks and dancing lead by our professional dancers within the group, Rick and Dawn. Thanks guys for showing us the moves.
I'm gonna miss these faces!
It was tough to see the gang off on departure day, over six plus weeks the MTM crew became close friends and a reliable team as they could trust each other in the back-country. We hope to see them back in Fernie again some time.

The Master the Mountain course is a six week program that gives you the best possible training in big mountain skiing or riding. It's an ideal course for a career break, culminating in a trip to a remote backcountry lodge accessed by helicopter. The ski camps and snowboard courses are a great way to make sure that you don't just cruise around on the mountain, but that you actually improve. They are great fun, super sociable and you come away being able to tackle terrain you could only have imagined before your Nonstop program. Come and join us in Fernie and find out for yourself.
