7 Tips for Taking Care of Your Goggles
A well-maintained pair of goggles will make a huge difference to your time on snow. Not only will they protect your eyes from the elements, but the right lenses will help you see where you're going, even in poor visibility! Here we give you 7 tips for looking after them.
1
Always use the provided goggle bag when transporting them. Small scratches build up fast, even from soft clothes.
2
Before lifting your goggles up, wipe your helmet free of snow so that you don't get snow in your goggles.
3
Try not to leave goggles on your helmet other than when wearing it - they stick out and will invariably get scratched.
4
To avoid foggy goggles, it's super important that you remember to dry them out properly every evening - hang them on the back of a chair near (not on) a radiator
5
Never leave your googles in their bag overnight, they’ll never dry out properly.
6
Try not to wipe your goggle lens (inside or out) with your glove - you'll scratch them! Use a soft cloth or head inside and dry them out. If you’ve wiped out and your goggles fill with snow, tap it out and then using a tissue dab away (rather than wiping) the remaining moisture.

For a really good clean you can usually remove your google lens and wash both sides using some light soapy and warm water.
