COACHING
OFF MOUNTAIN
From skiing across three unique resorts, to the spectacular scenery and incredible powder, your time in Banff will be nothing short of unforgettable. Push yourself in heart-pumping freeride terrain, head cat or heli skiing, and explore the National Park.
You’ll stay in the heart of Banff at the High-Country Inn, just a short walk from all the restaurants and bars. Your ride to the mountain will collect you directly outside the hotel every day.
You'll receive 20 hours coaching per week. Our full day coaching sessions are Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri, with Wednesdays and the weekends for free skiing, consolidating what you've learnt and other activities. The maximum group size is 6 people per pro.
You'll stay in the High Country in for the duration of your course.
You'll be treated to a continental breakfast seven days per week.
You'll be given a lift pass for the duration of your course.
If you arrive with the group flight (or land before), you can join the Nonstop transfer to the resort. All your transport within the resort is taken care of, just don't forget your gear.
Your host will ensure your course runs smoothly. They'll be on hand 24/7 for a chat, laugh, or to solve any problems.
Throughout the program our coaches will make the most of technical video analysis to help with your development.
These things are not included in the package:
We offer airport transfers from Calgary airport. You’ll be met in the International Arrivals Hall by your course host; our planned departure time is 1730. On the return trip to Banff, we will drop you off at the airport by 1530. It’s a 90-minute drive.
Absolutely! The majority of our clients come alone but sharing a room is a great way to save money; we pair likeminded people together based upon responses to a questionnaire you’ll complete prior to arrival.
Breakfasts are included and served seven days per week at the hotel restaurant. Lunches are not included & participants will generally buy lunch on the mountain. Dinners are not included but three nights a week our host will arrange a group reservation at a restaurant so that we can all enjoy evenings as a group. On the other evening’s you’re free to make your own plans but usually participants will eat together at one of Banff’s many great restaurants or pubs.
We plan for ski groups of six skiers to one instructor (max. class size is 7 but it’s extremely rare to have 7 in a group); we arrange these groups according to your experience & goals for the course.
This course is suitable for skiers who consider themselves early intermediates right through to experts. The average age of participants on our short courses is 42, which is often older than people had expected!
We look forward to speaking with you.
