Cervinia
The need-to-know on getting to Cervinia for your course.
Background
Please note that we will release the transfer information for our early-season camps in Cervinia in August.
We have found that airlines tend to make lots of adjustments to their flight schedules prior to this. Our camps take place before most ski resorts are open, so flight options are more limited than during the season.
Please read the following information carefully and let us know your travel plans via our Travel Survey as soon as you’re able. You’ll need your Booking ID, which you can find in your confirmation email or invoice.
Nonstop Transfers
We will be running transfers from, and to, Milan Linate Airport.
Simply ensure that you land at Milan Linate before 15:00 on the start date of the course and depart after 15:50 on the end date of your course.
If you’re coming from the UK these flights work well:
Arrival – 22 Nov / 29 Nov:
Flight number: BA572
Depart London Heathrow: 11:55
Arrive Milan Linate: 15:00
Departure – 29 Nov / 06 Dec:
Flight Number: BA573
Depart Milan Linate: 15:50
Arrive London Heathrow: 16:55
Driving
The centre of Cervinia is car-free so you will need to park in the public car parks. You can drive up to the front of the hotel to unload but make sure to give the hotel your registration number so that they can authorise this. You can enter the zone by entrance no. 4 Maquignaz (near the parking).
When you have made your travel plans, please complete the Travel Survey.
Visas
EU Entry Requirements for Non-EU Citizens
The ETIAS visa, which was due to be brought in from Autumn 2024, has been delayed again so, currently, it’s not required. You can find out more here: ETIAS – European Union (europa.eu)
While we’re still waiting for the full roll out of the delayed ETIAS visa, the new EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is slowly being rolled out at EU airports from October 2025 onwards. This means that on arrival to Italy, in addition to the personal information in your passport, you may be required to give biometric data, including facial image and/or fingerprints and information about your stay.
You can find more information on the official website here: EES – What is the EES?
This isn’t a huge change but may mean longer waits at immigration when you arrive in Italy. As always, we’ll include the hotel addresses in the transfer/arrival email that we send out a week before your course starts. We also recommend having a copy of your Nonstop invoice to hand in case you are asked for proof of what you are doing in Italy.
