All Mountain Pro
At Nonstop, our goal is for all riders to leave Canada able to ski or snowboard the whole mountain — powder, steeps, trees, and drops — in control, with style, and having fun. If you’re more into pushing your personal performance than chasing an instructor cert, our All Mountain Pro (AMP) pathway is built for you.
What is AMP?
Exclusive to Nonstop, AMP is a structured development program focused purely on all-mountain skills.
On our 11-week instructor courses in Canada, once you’ve completed your CSIA or CASI Level 1, you get to choose:
- Keep training toward Level 2, or
- Switch tracks into AMP, where it’s all about freeride progression
In AMP, there’s no “how to teach” — just full focus on your skiing or snowboarding.

AMP Skills
AMP pushes you to unlock new levels of control and creativity across the mountain. Coaching zeroes in on the techniques you need to flow through every type of terrain and condition — and look good doing it.
Expect to tackle:
- Short radius turns
- Linked carving
- Steep chutes + tree lines
- Mogul runs
- Powder fields
- Drops + controlled airtime
- Expression sessions + freeruns
Every week features video analysis, one-on-one feedback, and clear personal goal setting to keep your development on track. By the end, you’ll have leveled up every part of your riding.

Stages
AMP mirrors the structure of instructor certifications — with two progressive stages aligned to Level 1 and 2 standards — but with freeriding as the focus:
- AMP Stage 1 – open to all riders just after your Level 1 cert.
- AMP Stage 2 – available in the latter part of the course, as an alternative to the Level 2 pathway.
Each stage wraps up with a series of “ride-offs” that test and challenge the AMP skillset — think freeruns, drops, and mogul challenges. Test days are always a season highlight — with everyone throwing down, pushing their limits, backing each other up, and celebrating just how far they’ve progressed.

All Mountain Experiences
Beyond your AMP coaching, you’ll have the opportunity to dive deeper into the freeride scene with experiences like:
- Avalanche Skills Training (AST) 1
- Backcountry Touring
- Ski Patrol Shadowing
- Road Trips
- Local Comps + Events
