The Nonstop Coaching Philosophy

Every rider has a next level. Coached By Nonstop is how you get there.

Small Groups, Big Impact

The best sessions start with the right people around you — everyone pushing in the same direction, at a similar level, with the same appetite to improve. We run with an average of 6 riders per coach on camps, and 8 on instructor courses — ability-matched, each group guided by a Nonstop pro. Your coach will understand your goals, spot the patterns holding you back, and shape every session around you and group vibe. Personal attention, collective energy — that’s the sweet spot.

Technical Mastery, Every Session

Great skiing and snowboarding is built on fundamentals — and that’s where our coaching always begins. Think stance, balance, edge control, weight distribution, timing. Whatever your level, there’s always something to strip back, refine, and rebuild stronger. The best riders in the world — from alpine racers to freeskiers — never stop working on the basics, and neither should you. Every session is purposeful — briefing, warm ups, drills, guided mileage in real terrain, and video analysis that shows you exactly what’s working and what needs work. Skills built this way stick. And once they stick, they can be pushed further.

Mileage Matters

The best way to get better at skiing or snowboarding is to ride. A lot. Our coaching approach is built around reps, laps, and mileage — coaching delivered on the move, in real terrain, with feedback applied immediately. We keep things flowing — every session designed to maximise your time on snow, with purposeful mileage and your coach alongside you. When something needs unpacking, we take the time to work through it properly. But the goal is always more riding, more learning. That’s how progression actually happens.

Riding The Whole Mountain

The mountain is there to be ridden. Everything we do is rooted in all-mountain, all-terrain progression — the belief that great skiing or snowboarding is about confidence and adaptability across every aspect of the mountain, not just groomed runs. Steeps, powder, trees, choppy snow… whatever the hill throws at you. Your coaches know the best lines and zones, and exactly when you’re ready to take them on. Drills and technique work feed directly into real terrain, real conditions, and real riding. Because that’s what it’s all about.

Coached To Qualify

On our instructor courses, the coaching is focused on getting you certified, dialled in, and ready — and setting you up for what comes next. You’ll be coached by pros who know the qualification systems inside out, including examiners with the qualifying bodies themselves. They know exactly what’s needed to pass, how to prepare you for assessments, and how to develop the teaching skills that make a great instructor. With some of the highest pass rates for Level 1 and 2 in the industry, you’re in the right hands — whether you’re chasing a career, making the most of a gap year, or using the qualification framework to fast-track your own riding.

Beyond the Turns

Nonstop coaching goes beyond technique — it’s about understanding and respecting the mountain environment you’re riding in. We build this into every course — how to read terrain, pick a line, assess conditions, and move through it with confidence. For riders venturing deeper, that means avalanche awareness and backcountry safety too — because the more time you spend out there, the more important that knowledge becomes. It’s what turns a good rider into a complete one. The final aspect features off-snow workshops — practical and expert-led. Things like ski and snowboarding tuning, big mountain tactics, understanding biomechanics, backcountry prep, and more.

Coaches Who Live It

This is where it all comes together — the Nonstop coaches. Every Nonstop coach is highly qualified — but that’s just the start. They’re passionate riders who live and breathe these sports and the mountains they work on. Level 3 or 4 certified, handpicked for their technical knowledge, local know-how, and the kind of energy that makes every session genuinely enjoyable. They know all the best lines, the hidden zones, and exactly how to get the best out of you.

Every session is structured with purpose — but flexible enough to respond to the mountain, the conditions, and group energy. It’s coaching on the move and learning by doing, in real terrain, with real feedback. Here's what that looks like.

1. Briefing

Goals set, let's go. Every session starts with a clear plan — so everyone knows what they're working on and why. This might be hip angulation in the steeps, or building confidence in deeper snow.

2. Warm Up

Body and mind ready. A dynamic warm up that prepares you physically and mentally for the riding ahead.

3. Drills

Strip it back, build it stronger. Focused skill work targeting the specific areas that will move your riding forward. Think short turn drills on groomers before taking it into the trees.

4. Guided Mileage

Skills into action. Your coach takes you through real terrain — the best lines, the right zones, putting everything into practice. A powder field, a technical couloir, or a freeride zone — wherever makes sense that day.

5. Practice

Make it yours. Time to experiment, consolidate, and push what you've just learned into your riding.

6. Review

See it, fix it, progress. On the hill or at the end of the day — feedback, video analysis where needed, and a clear focus for next time.

Here's what riders say about being Coached By Nonstop.

Luis was our coach and his depth of ski knowledge was mind-boggling. And he was just great fun to ski with. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to improve in all aspects of their skiing whilst also having a sick time doing it.”

— Sam J, All-Mountain Camp, Fernie

“I attended the 2-week All-Mountain Camp (snowboarding) in Fernie this year and I must say, the progress I made in those 2 short weeks was almost unbelievable. Compared to others on the course I had very little experience, but it didnt take long to feel comfortable boarding with my other course mates.”

— Jack W, All-Mountain Camp, Fernie

“This is the 4th time that I have skied with Nonstop, which I think speaks for itself! The coaching from Jens & Anna really is the best that you can get. If you want to improve your skiing in a supportive and friendly environment with like-minded people, I really don’t think that you could do better.”

— Kevin I, Technical Camp, Cervinia
