Renting equipment

Before joining a Nonstop course it’s highly likely that you’ve always rented your equipment on holidays. Resorts often offer good deals when you book a package deal and it’s a good opportunity to try out the current season’s gear.

One thing to note, it’s worth considering purchasing equipment if you are joining us in Canada for 2 weeks or more. The initial outlay might seem like a lot but it’s a great investment. Renting in Canadian resorts is fairly pricey too so you may find that the cost of buying is only marginally more than renting. If you are joining one of our 11 week courses then buying gear will definitely be more cost effective.

FERNIE

There are 2 rental options in Fernie. The first is directly from Fernie Alpine Resort. You can see full rates here please note that you will also need to add on tax. Alternatively The Quest also do rentals. You can find out more information about their options here

It is best to prebook before you come to Fernie as they will not have a huge selection. There will be time on the first Sunday of your course to collect your rentals before lessons start on the Monday.

BANFF

During our Banff courses you will receive coaching at all 3 resorts. It is therefore best to get your rentals from a shop in town so that you don’t have to do your first and last day at the same resort. The best place to get your gear is: Ski Big 3 Adventure Hub. CERVINIA

If you’re joining us in Cervina for a short course then you may decide that renting equipment is easier than bringing your own gear – it can be cheaper than booking ski carriage on flights too. Check out the rental options here
