1. Technique Fundamentals + Fixing Bad Habits
"

I have been skiing for years but have never had any formal coaching. I am certain I have some fundamental flaws in my technique. I’m looking forward to having them identified and rectified. "

Whatever your level, the best riders know it all starts with the basics. Nail your stance, your balance, understand your mechanics, your movements, and your equipment — and the whole mountain suddenly feels easier to move around.

Riders told us they want to:

  • Develop better body position and balance
  • Improve carving and edge control
  • Feel smoother and more controlled on piste
  • Build strong fundamentals they can rely on everywhere
"

Mainly, I want to improve my technique and gain confidence. I started skiing late in my mid 30s and while I picked it up quite quickly, I now feel I've reached a plateau. I tend to lose my nerve if anything is very steep. I love skiing SO much I just want to be better! "

If this sounds like you: Our camps are built around structured coaching and feedback that address your baseline, so you actually understand why something works – not just what to do.

Camps for this goal: Our 1-week Technical Camps in Cervinia are specifically designed to dial in the fundamentals through focused technical coaching. And if you’re ready to step up, our 1-week Rockies Improver Camp in Banff offers guided progression across three resorts.

2. Technique + Confidence in Steeper Terrain
"

Improving technique and becoming more confident in steeper, more variable terrain and snow conditions – keeping good technique when conditions are more difficult. "

Steep pitches, choppy conditions, unpredictable snow — runs that may feel intimidating right now. A huge number of riders are chasing more commitment, control, and flow when things get a little gnarly, so they can handle whatever the mountain throws at them.

Common goals included:

  • Tackling steeper runs with control
  • Feeling calm in variable conditions
  • Stopping the ‘panic turns’ when it gets gnarly
  • Trusting their riding instead of freezing up
"

I want to improve technique so I feel more confident on steeper, tougher terrain. Although I can get down any run, I'd love to get down those runs with proper technique and have more fun doing so. The thing I struggle with most is maintaining flow through tough snow conditions. "

If this sounds like you: Nonstop camps are about progression at your pace. You’ll build confidence step by step, with coaches who know when to push and when to support. We spend time in real mountain conditions, not just perfect groomers. You’ll learn techniques that actually work when it counts.

Camps for this goal: Our 1-week Rockies Improver Camp in Banff is a perfect entry-camp to start exploring varied all-mountain terrain across three resorts, building confidence in different conditions. For riders ready to push further, our 1-week All-Mountain Camp in Serre Chevalier and the original 2-week All-Mountain Camp in Fernie offer steep, challenging terrain and endless opportunities to test your limits.

3. Getting After Powder + Off-Piste Riding
"

I’m still not comfortable in deep snow. To put it simply, I want to fall in love with powder! "

Deep turns, endless float, and that feeling of bounding through fresh snow – it’s what most riders dream of but rarely get to experience. If you’ve ever felt the pull of untouched snow and want to ride it with finesses and flow, we get it.

Goals included:

  • Exploring off-piste terrain safely
  • Learning how to ride powder properly
  • Improving float, stance, and control in deep snow
  • Feeling comfortable when conditions change
"

I want to get more comfortable and improve confidence in fresh powder and more variable off-piste snow types. As well as build confidence in trees, narrow couloirs, and steeps! "

If this sounds like you: Our all-mountain coaching approach focuses on techniques and skills that work in deep snow, navigating tree lines, and tackling off-piste conditions — so you can push yourself safely and have the time of your life while doing it.

Camps for this goal: Our 2-week All-Mountain Camp in Fernie and 1-week All-Mountain Camp in Serre Chevalier put you straight into the kind of terrain powder hounds dream of. Both venues offer accessible off-piste zones and epic conditions when the snow falls, letting you build confidence while chasing fresh lines.

4. Backcountry + Touring Skills
"

I want to improve my kick turns on steeper terrain and revise existing skills, e.g. avalanche rescue, route planning, dynamic risk assessment in ski touring terrain. As well as improving and restoring confidence on steeper off-piste terrain. "

Beyond the lifts lies pure freedom — quiet peaks, untouched lines, and terrain that tests everything you know. As you level up, riders here want the skills to step into the backcountry and explore safely — whether its first tours, consolidating backcountry skills, or just generally building technique away from the lifts.

People told us they want to:

  • Learn the basics of touring
  • Build confidence in backcountry terrain
  • Reintroduce themselves to touring safely
  • Prepare for future backcountry trips
"

I’d love to feel more confident with route finding and identifying avalanche terrain in the backcountry. I completed an avalanche course last winter, but I'm still trying to get more experience in the backcountry. I want to be able to go on hut trips with my friends in Colorado and be a part of the decision-making process. "

If this sounds like you: Our backcountry camps are designed to give you the skills, knowledge and confidence to head beyond the resort safely — all under the guidance of experienced coaches and guides.

Camps for this goal: Our 4-week Master the Mountain Camps in Fernie and Serre Chevalier start with all-mountain technique, touring fundamentals, and avalanche awareness, before moving into multi-day hut trips. For shorter adventures, the 2-week Tour + Explore Camp in Fernie or the 1-week Tour + Explore Camp in Serre Chevalier give you the skills and confidence to enjoy the backcountry from day one.

6. Community + Meeting New People
"

I’m keen to have fun with a group of people who are also open to learning and improving! Work-hard-play-hard mentality. "

It’s not just about lines, turns, and technique. It’s the people you meet and ride with, the laughs you share, and the energy that keeps you charging all day. Finding your people in the mountains is just as important as mastering the snow.

They told us they want to:

  • Meet like-minded riders
  • Be part of a crew
  • Share sessions and progression
  • Feed off the group energy
"

I want to get more confident in varied off-piste conditions and learn more about how to pick a good line! But most of all, I want to meet sound people and just have a boss time in the mountains! "

If this sounds like you: All Nonstop camps are designed to foster community and shared stoke, with plenty of laughs, post-ride beers, and friendships that last beyond the season.

Camps for this goal: Any! No matter which camp you choose, you’ll ride with new friends, share progression together, and soak up the energy that makes every Nonstop trip memorable.

7. Exploring New Spots + Being Shown the Mountain
"

I’m keen to experience North American style resorts with a ‘go-anywhere’ approach – and get more confident in steep terrain and tree runs. Pisted runs get a bit boring! "

Whether it’s your first time skiing Canada, riding BC tree lines, or stepping into the Alps beyond the piste map, there’s something special about discovering a place properly. This goal is all about exploring somewhere new — and doing it with coaches who know the mountain inside out.

Goals included:

  • Skiing a new destination for the first time
  • Being shown the best terrain by people who know it well
  • Learning how to access lines safely
  • Understanding the mountain beyond the trail map
"

I have wanted to join one of your courses for some time and now that I have the opportunity for a sabbatical, I’m really excited to be joining you in France and try places I have always wanted to ski. "

If this sounds like you: Skip the guesswork and spend your time riding the best terrain from day one. Our camps are led by experienced coaches and guides who know these mountains intimately — showing you where to go, how to get there safely, and how to ride it with confidence.

Camps for this goal: All Nonstop camps are built around local knowledge and guided progression. From British Columbia to the Southern French Alps, you’ll explore each destination properly, riding the terrain that makes each place special rather than just ticking off runs.

8. Pure Fun
"

I’m here to have a fun filled two weeks of epic skiing, making new friends, and improving my skills. "

Sometimes it’s simple: less stress, more stoke, more fun. Ultimately, this is why we all ski or ride. To let go, ride the mountain, laugh, fall, get back up — and feel alive every turn of the way.

"

I want to improve my technique and become a better, more confident skier on all terrain. And, of course, have some fun and build memories. "

Camps for this goal: All our camps are designed to make riding fun, no matter your level.

So… What Are Your Goals?

Whether you’re chasing confidence, better technique, powder days, or just a good crew to ride with – you’re not the only one. These goals came straight from riders joining our camps.

Real people, same fears, same ambitions, same stoke.
