All-Mountain Snowboard Camp

The journey starts at Calgary Airport, where you’ll meet the crew for the group transfer to Fernie. Once we arrive at the lodge, it’s time to settle in, unpack, and decompress after the travel day. Most take it easy, but if you’re feeling social, Fernie’s Pub is just a short stroll away.

We kick off with an early breakfast and a quick orientation to get you prepped for the week ahead. If your gear’s sorted, you can head straight to the slopes for a guided tour of Fernie’s five legendary bowls — perfect for getting your bearings and shaking off the jet lag. Prefer to ease into things? No problem. Explore town, grab any last bits of kit, and join us later for a welcome dinner and drinks. You’ll meet the coaches, your crew, and get hyped for what’s to come.

This is what you came for. Coaching kicks off on Monday — the first of four full coaching days this week to dial in your technique and confidence. We’ll guide you through the terrain, help you find your snowboard legs, and gradually layer in the skills to ride Fernie’s bowls, trees, and steeps. You’ll also get a taste of First Tracks — heading up before public lifts open to enjoy untouched lines. Evenings are all about social meals, local culture, and swapping stories with your new mountain mates.

The weekend is all yours. It’s the perfect chance to freeride with the new mates you’ve met, revisit your favourite lines, and discover fresh ones together. Lap the lifts, take a leisurely lunch, and soak up the views. If you need a reset, Fernie’s indie coffee spots, local spa, and slow-paced mountain-town charm are right there. Or, join an optional snowshoe adventure for some active recovery. Recharge or rip — your call.

Week two is where it all clicks. With a foundation built, we level up — taking on more technical terrain and sharpening those all-mountain skills. Fernie is famed for its glades, so we’ll focus on tree-skiing tactics, steep-line confidence, and dynamic flow. Expect chutes like Saddles and Knots to come into play. You’ll also have the chance to join an optional backcountry cat-boarding day — a big highlight where you’ll ride deep, untracked BC powder with pro guides and wide grins.

We’ll wrap things up with a final après and farewell dinner — one last chance to swap stories and raise a glass to an epic two weeks. Then it’s time to pack up and catch the group transfer back to Calgary. You’ll leave with new skills, new friends, and the kind of memories that don’t fade.
